Long Description	The SCIEX vMethod Application for Allergens provides a sample preparation protocol and screening method for the presence of over 10 common allergens in food homogenates of dry baked goods. Samples are defatted and extracted for proteins, which are then proteolytically digested and the peptides are separated by HPLC. Signature peptides for each allergen are detected by following multiple, unique multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) transitions on a SCIEX QTRAP 4500 LC/MS/MS System.
